No account, and no personal information is collected. No name, email address, telephone number, identity document or payment detail is requested by the Software or transmitted to the Providers.
No advertising, analytics, telemetry or third-party tracking — in the Software or on this website.
One feature transmits anything at all: alert notifications, which are off unless you switch them on. Everything they send is listed in full below.
Your settings and history stay on your device, or in your own iCloud account, which the Providers cannot read.

Your activation code
Access requires an activation code, which the Providers issue when your license begins. The code is an arbitrary sequence of characters: it is not derived from you or from your device, it contains no personal information, and on its own it identifies nobody. It is stored on your device — in the system keychain on Apple platforms.
The Software checks that your license is current by downloading a small published file and comparing your code against it on your own device. That file contains no codes: each entry is a value derived from a code by a deliberately slow one-way calculation, from which the code cannot be recovered. It therefore identifies nobody, and its contents grant access to nothing.
The request is a download only. No code, identifier, watchlist or usage information is sent with it, and the file retrieved is byte-for-byte identical for everyone who requests it. As with any request to any website, the service hosting it necessarily observes that a request was made and the network address it came from; it learns nothing else, and it cannot tell one client's request from another's.
What stays on your device
Watchlists, configuration, alert state, accuracy history and price targets are held in ordinary local files on the device you are using.
On Apple devices, your watchlists and alert settings additionally synchronize between your own devices through your personal iCloud account, using Apple's key-value storage under the Apple ID already signed in on the device. That synchronized data goes to your iCloud account and nowhere else: the Providers do not receive it and cannot read it. Any market-data API credentials you choose to supply are excluded from synchronization and never leave the device they were entered on.
Alert notifications — the one thing that is sent
Alerts are off unless you switch them on. Switching them on registers your device with a notification service the Providers operate, and sends exactly the following and nothing else:

It does not send your other watchlists, your configuration, your accuracy history, your price targets, or anything about your trading, your positions or your accounts — the Software has no access to the last of those in the first place.
The registration is held on a machine the Providers operate, is not shared with anyone, and is used for nothing but deciding which notifications to send you. Switching alerts off withdraws it: the Providers then delete what was registered and hold nothing further about you. It is also deleted if your license ends.
Notifications themselves are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service, as all such notifications on Apple devices must be. Apple therefore handles each notification and its contents — a symbol, an UP/DOWN/HOLD reading, a timeframe and a price — in the ordinary manner of that service.
If you prefer none of this, leave alerts switched off. Every other part of the Software works exactly as described, and stance changes are still calculated on your own device.
Economic-release reminders
Where you have alerts switched on, the Providers also send reminders ahead of major scheduled United States economic releases, and a follow-up carrying the published figure. These are drawn from a public economic calendar and are identical for every user: they are not derived from your watchlist or from anything else about you, and beyond the registration described above — which records whether you wish to receive them — nothing additional is needed or received in order to send them. They can be switched off on their own, without affecting your other alerts.
What never leaves the device, even with alerts on
Two alert categories are decided on the device and are never sent anywhere, by design:
- Price targets are state the app owns. Two parties evaluating the same one-shot target is a duplicate notification waiting to happen, so only the device does it.
- Earnings reminders are drawn from your active watchlist, and the notification service holds no watchlist of yours to draw them from.
Market data
Because quotes must be requested from third-party data providers, those providers necessarily learn which instruments have been requested, in the ordinary manner of any application that retrieves market prices. The Providers themselves receive no such information.
Those requests also carry a random identifier that the Software generates on your device the first time it runs and stores in an ordinary local file, because the public endpoint expects one in its request headers. It is not derived from you, your device or any account, it contains no personal information, and the Providers never receive it either.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party — the fonts and the stylesheet are served from this site itself, so visiting makes no request to anyone else. It also contains no JavaScript at all, and is served with a content-security policy that forbids any: your own browser enforces that, rather than taking this page's word for it.
As with any website, the hosting provider necessarily observes that a request was made, from what network address and for which page, in the ordinary course of serving it. Nothing is used to build a profile, and there is nothing here to log in to.
Choosing a contact link simply hands the address to your own mail application; nothing is transmitted by this site in doing so.
Retention and deletion

Your rights
Because no account exists and no personal information is collected, there is normally nothing held about you to access, correct, export or erase. Where you have switched alerts on, the registration described above is the only record — and switching alerts off in the app deletes it, immediately and without needing to ask anyone.
If you would rather have that confirmed, or want it deleted by hand, write and it will be done. No charge, and no verification hoop, because the request cannot expose anything: there is nothing there that identifies a person.
Children
The Software is licensed to clients for their own analysis and is not directed to children. It is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
Changes
If what the Software collects or transmits changes, this page and §2 of the Terms change in the same release that changes the behavior — and the notice inside the app is re-presented for acceptance when it does, so a change cannot pass unnoticed.
